How we process personal data when you contact us or request a quote.

Purpose and legal basis
We process quote-request data to respond, prepare a quote and take pre-contractual steps at your request under GDPR Article 6(1)(b). Proportionate security and abuse-prevention processing may rely on legitimate interests under Article 6(1)(f). After a contract is formed, accounting and tax data may be processed where required by law under Article 6(1)(c).
Data processed
Required fields: name, company / organisation, email address, preferred contact method, project summary, selected service area, selected services, privacy-notice acknowledgement
Optional fields: phone number, project goals, desired outcome, timing, location, reference or brief link, service-area-specific scope details
Submission technical data
submission source page, form start time, submission time. We record the submission source page and form start/submission times to preserve the context of the request, support troubleshooting and abuse prevention, and make operational processing auditable. Metadata linked to a quote request follows the same retention rule as that inquiry. Technical data used only as security logging is generally retained for no more than 90 days, unless needed for incident investigation or legal claims.

- Google Apps Script — quote-request backend, validation and operational routing
- Google Workspace / Gmail — internal notification, customer confirmation and reply communication
- GitHub Pages / GitHub — publishing and serving the static HIPStudio website from the GitHub repository
Retention
Inquiries that do not become a contract are deleted or anonymised 12 months after the last meaningful contact. Contract/project data is kept for the relationship and then for the period required by applicable Hungarian accounting, tax, limitation and legal rules. Security logs are generally kept for no more than 90 days unless needed for incident investigation or legal claims.
Automated decision-making
We do not use solely automated decision-making or profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects. Routing is only an operational pre-classification and remains subject to human review.
International transfers
Where a service provider operates globally, the lawful transfer mechanism applicable to the active contract and account configuration is used. The public notice does not claim more than the actual service agreement and configuration support.
Your rights
Subject to the legal conditions, you may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction and data portability, and object to processing based on legitimate interests. Contact: info@hipstudio.hu. Special-category data
The public quote form does not request special-category personal data. For corporate experiences, the first inquiry may describe general physical, accessibility, cultural, weather or organisational constraints, but must not include health conditions or diagnoses. Please do not include health data, intimate information, identity-document numbers or similar sensitive information in free-text fields.
